INDIA 2024
The following images were all taken in northern India in October and November 2024, which included the Hindu festival, Diwali. The locations include Delhi, Agra, Ranthambore National Park, Jaipur and Varanassi.
Ranthambore National Park is in Rajasthan and, according to the park's website, covers 1,334 sq.kms, of which an area of 392 sq.kms is organised into zones, 10 of which are accessible via pre-booked jeep safaris. My wife, Mandy, and I were lucky enough to visit zone 3 at dawn and zone 2 during the afternoon/early evening, and it was during this second visit that we encountered Royal Bengal tigress, Arrowhead and her three grown-up cubs, who appeared out of the jungle directly in front of our jeep.
